You don’t know what you don’t know. That’s the essence of why diversity is important. I don’t know what it’s like to be a woman. Or a black person. I don’t know how else I’d be treated. Just like most of you don’t know what it was like to be the fat kid. I realise, after losing over 100 lbs (that’s 7.1 stone for you Brits) the difference between being a fat guy and an average sized person and trust me, I’m treated differently.
